They will say, it is just ponding. It so happens that a few ponds merged and formed bigger ponds. Hence, there is still no such thing as flooding.

As more natural soil and grass is replaced by concrete and widened roads, expect more 'ponding' to occur in places where previously there was no such problem.

You might need an amphibious PMD in future.
