he dare to steal to lunch or dinner of the bigger cats like leopard in front of their face. he is fucking fast and fierce

Talking about fast, the fastest animal on earth is of course one of the cat family, the cheetah. Its acceleration from stationary I think hasn't been surpassed by any sports car yet. Its top speed of I think about 130km/h has been surpassed by almost all modern cars though, and of course modern cars can go much longer distances as long as there's fuel. The cheetah can't sustain that speed for long without risking a heatstroke.

We all know all wild cats can swim. Waddling across rivers and even just taking a cooling bath is no big deal to tigers, lions, leopards etc. In fact, the top cat swimmer, the tiger, can swim long distances and dive deep depths. It's probably the only land animal that can make a meal out of a crocodile or alligator.

Question is, why do city and domestic cats hate or fear water so much?
