Why SIA cannot get its 'Total Common Shares Outstanding' numbers correct?
Or am I mistaken?

https://investors.sgx.com/securities/stocks?security=C6L the lodged info with SGX says that FY2020 (or before 31.3.2020) There were 1,682.06M 'Total Common Shares Outstanding'

But we all know that rights issue was 3:2, means each share will become 2.5 shares after rights issue completed. (one mother share and 1.5 rights shares after rights issued).

SIA themselves https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/us/about-us/information-for-investors/shareholding-info/ say "Total Issued Shares (Excluding Treasury Shares)
(as at 30 June 2020)
2,962,820,811"
(30June2020 being the post rights and rights shares traded already period ).

2,962,820,811 /2.5= 1,185.1283244M

So how many ordinary SIA shares were in circulation BEFORE May 2020 rights issue?

1,185.1283244M or 1,682.06M

How did almost 500M shares mysteriously disappear? Where are these phantom shares now, will they suddenly come to claim dividends when there are payouts? I there more than one definition of 'Total Common Shares Outstanding'?

This kinda thing also can be so mysterious (/mischievous) ?

Same absurd number of '1682M common shares' that is much more wrong than it is obsolete; and even SGX is spewing this nonsense information as well.

What is this nonsense 'refinitiv' provider of nonsense financial information about stocks?

The airlines industry is unfriendly towards SIA's management now because they always flip prata with their decisions in recent years. Even the ticketing companies condemn them for their arrogance. It is very SAF now, those shortlisted for senior management will just hop around different departments having good understanding of the job and then promote after these "tours".

I think SIA will need more fundings in the foreseeable future.
