How is WP's move in the interests of all?

IF WORKERS' Party leader Low Thia Khiang had wanted to realise his party manifesto of achieving a First World Parliament, why didn't he choose the better option of fielding his best candidates in separate GRCs which would help them reap more victories?

Is the risk taken by Mr Low, in putting all his eggs in one basket in Aljunied GRC, in the interests of Singaporeans?

If his goal is to get his candidates into Parliament, why take the risk of knocking out two Cabinet ministers who have been serving the nation well over many years?

Would the denial of their ability to contribute to Singapore be for the betterment of Singaporeans? Why deny us of their talent?

Is it fair to let voters choose between the talent in the two groups? Shouldn't the First World Parliament consist of the most talented in Singapore?

What are WP's plans for Aljunied?

WHILE the Workers' Party may claim that it is fielding its "A" team led by secretary-general Low Thia Khiang to contest Aljunied GRC, the party has not revealed its plans for the GRC for the next five years if its team is elected.

Without a plan, how do they expect to take ownership of the GRC which the People's Action Party team led by Foreign Minister George Yeo has looked after?

Mr Yeo and his team have painstakingly improved the lives of residents in Aljunied GRC for a long time.

I am not swayed by the Workers' Party's promises of a better tomorrow.
