SDP is certainly going to draw a blank from WP. No need to brood. Here are the best options for a desperate SDP to enter parliament.

1) Withdraw completely and focus on next GE
2) Join force with (RP, SDA) in SDP latest proposal of representing in parliament/others in Town Council management
The advantage is, SDA is experience in assisting Chiam in town management.

Thus there will be 3-corner fight of equal match instead of loosely run contestants,

SDP coaliton with RP & SDA vs WP vs. PAP (no one will lose deposit)

If RP and SDA are not willing to join force with SDP, than pestering WP to relent to SDP request sound like a fool to WP.
Under such situation, take option (1) when (2) failed miserably.

Time is money

SDP, please send your coalition letter to RP and SDA now. Leave WP alone.
