jus received my tirak call...she say hatyai flooded...all chicken farm closed...flood quite bad...some area the flood water rises over the first floor...families got to take cover at 2nd floor....all puying stay indoors, eat, sleep, makan.... :(

It is call purifying.... anyway it is normal to flood there when it rain very heavy nearly got caught in the flood waters on way to the airport many years back...imagine the water was rising fast behind the car....:p

The BBC is showing video of the floods in Hatyai. It's pretty bad.

It could be as bad as the big floods of the 90's. After which the royal family supported drainage projects to prevent future flooding.
