anyway, "expired" food doesn't necessarily mean they're bad or deadly food. of course, if they are many years or decades past the "expired" or "best before date" label, they may deteriorate to a point when they become inedible or unhealthy to eat. bottled, packaged or canned food other than baby food or infant formula can still be consumed past their expiry or best-before-date within months or even the year. most food producers use best-before-date rather than expiry date.
