They take photos of themselves, in sexy poses or wearing their employers' clothes, before posting them on Facebook.

Some maids even go online during their working hours.

Eight out of 12 maid agencies told The New Paper on Sunday that social media platforms such as Facebook and the rampant use of mobile phones rank among the top reasons some employers are dropping their maids before the end of their two-year contracts.

Often, the trust broken makes it difficult for the employers to retain their helpers.

But is it fair to bar them? Agency owners say it's important to educate the maids.
