Don't say I no say hor

Nice but the salty air is a problem. I would install large window panels in some areas of the house to prevent rust and salt damage to all things metal and wood. Also bird poop is a problem. Overall nice and unique house. Easily can find these types of houses in BC.

I won't even think of it. It will attract birds to nest and sooner will turn into million birds house. If you think it is quiet, I doubt so.

Used to stay near the beach in a foreign country; during monsoon season cannot open window, after monsoon season the whole exterior crusted with salt.

Last September, my wife and I were cruising along the Thousand Islands, between the US and Canadian borders. Initially thought how nice it would be to live in 1 of these, but subsequently, had second thoughts, because was wondering how boring it would be for long term stay.

Coming from a pro PAP chap like you, I would think your preference will be for 'tighter' accommodations.
