You appear to not know cars. Buick is a mid to high-end GM marque. Even more so in China - Buick is a big deal there.
In Spore US cars are not popular. More common are BMWs, Merc, Toyotas,.... I don't think I've ever seen a Buick![]()

US cars are less well regarded than Japanese and German cars in the US.

Americans replace their cars more frequently, something like every 3 to 5 years, so the quality is not so important.
When I was there & wanted to rent a vehicle, I found out that Toyotas cost extra $ than american brands. It was worth the extra $ because American cars don't drive as well as Japanese designed cars.
