The solution to the virus, therefore, is to reopen the mosque and redouble one’s Islamic fervor. This is the kind of thinking that leads to jihad activity. A hadith has a Muslim asking Muhammad: “Instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad (in reward).” Muhammad replied, “I do not find such a deed.” (Bukhari 4.52.44)


So if a believer goes on jihad, his good deeds will outweigh all his evil deeds. If coronavirus is caused by sin and Islamic piety is its cure, this will lead to jihad, the highest expression of Islamic piety.

Samajwadi Party’s Sambhal MP Shafiqur Rehman Barq on Tuesday demanded the opening of Idgahs and mosques on the occassion of Bakr Eid to offer to prayers to end Coronavirus. He said that coronavirus is not a disease but punishment by God for people’s sins and the best cure of coronavirus is to pray to God.
“On the occasion of Bakr Eid, markets should be opened so that people can buy animals from there. Mosques and eidgahs should be opened for people, to offer to prayers to end Coronavirus….No cure of Coronavirus has been found so far, which means Coronavirus is not a disease but punishment by God for our sins. The best cure of Corona is that we all pray to God,” he said.
“I believe that when we will apologise in the mosques, pray for coronavirus to end, God will listen to our prayers and the situation will improve,” he added.
All festivals during the COVID-19 pandemic period have been observed strictly as per the guidelines ensuring social distancing….

Everything all self-serving and made up. In a fictitious belief system, every random act will get drawn into the narrative to support their beliefs. Depending on the day, it will be punishment for not obeying, next it will be punishment to the West for not embracing Islam, another day it will be punishment for not having enough young girls. Whatever can be made to fit.

islamic rituals and prayers started to be formalized about 200 years after the quran was compiled. It's all in their quran part 2 called 'hadith'. When moslems are in a moral dilemma, they would basically ask 'what would muhammad do if he was in my situation'? And the hadith, based on muhammad's deeds, would give a very close answer. It includes questions on whether moslems can profit from slavery, treating others of different faiths, starting wars, raiding, piracy, diet, how to pray, etc etc.

That moslem preacher is speaking based on mainstream islamic teachings, not some radical outfit. He's asking moslems to go on religious war. Almost all of islam's influential figures were influential and revered because they went on holy wars where they killed lots of non-moslems, enslaved women and burned churches and temples. No moslem is remembered for his islamic piety in the contribution of poetry, medicine or science or for ruling peacefully.

I'm amused. All other religions teach their followers about love, respect, justice and compassion. Only one religion is teaching its followers to commit evil and that committing evil against unbelievers is actually pleasing to God. It reinforces the fact that Islam worships a different god, a god of a different nature from the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

Most people are unaware of the history of muhammad, his companions and general moslem religious teachers. They assume that islam religious figures are Arab version of Buddha, Confucius, Lao Tze, Mother Theresa, Jesus, all who are peaceful teachers and scholars. Real scholars, not illiterates who style themselves as scholars and harp on the virtues of launching religious wars, raids and spit hate from their sermons.
