As a lawyer, even if the client has difficulty in paying, the lawyer may very well dump the client and discharge themselves.

Muralee had said himself that if BB did not vote him, therefore he did not get his $17k allowance, BB resident is not going to get the $1.9M upgrading, never mind the $24M already slated for BB, or that money does not come from Muralee or PAP.

Does it now jell with what Muralee said, and what he is as a professional lawyer which reflects his individual?

Now, business is business, even in BB BE. No allowance, no talk. That's Muralee, and that's PAP for you.

Actually a real MP need not be full time. The problem is in singkieland. MPs r responsible for town councils which is BS. MPs r about representing the interests of the constituents. If singkieland goes back to the true duties of an MP..than fine. No need full time. If pap insists on MP looking after town councils than pls explain why a PAP MP can b part time n still manage a town council properly. Even old fart also never manage town council. Even pinky n his ministars did bugger all. If not bukit batok wont have a rat problem.

Ultimately, it's down to the MP how he represents the voters including his contributions in parliament as well as to the constituency. Currently there are part-time and fulltime MPs from both PAP and WP.
