In a report on the demise of former malay PAP MP Haji Mohamed Ariff Suradi, the Chinese newspaper make a grave mistake and insult in naming the one seated in the centre with a tie as President Yusof Ishak.

How could our main stream media not known who Yusof Ishak is?
Could it be that the reporter is a PRC and assume that whoever wears the tie got to be the President?

Note:
President Yusof Ishak (seated, 1st from left) and demised Haji Mohamed Ariff Suradi (seated, 1st from right).

nothing new...........
ha! ha! ha! ha! hohohohoohohohohohhohohhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

游润恬 (the writer of the article) is most likely a Tiong.

At this point it is hardly a surprise anymore. The local Chinese newspapers dedicate a disproportionate amount of column space to trivial news from China. For example: Farmer from Province A found his goat. Couple from Province B had an amusing wedding. Teacher from Province C beat students to a bloody pulp. You get the idea.

In Tiong-speak:

记者游润恬犯下了严重的政治错误。:D
