Remember the Expo?

The halls are filling up fast!

But yay!

The Expo Community recovering care facility just celebrated its first patient discharge.

Hugs to everyone who has worked to make the Expo a reality well ahead of any identified need!

And hugs to everyone working at the Expo, and their families, for looking after the patients.

And hugs to all patients - incoming young patients (18-30 years old), and recovering patients.

Apologies we didn’t have time to create a 5-star facility in views and amenities.

Our priority was 5-star medical care, and 5-star protection for everyone, patients and non patients.

Take care and have a good weekend!

Ps:
A big thank you to various suppliers too. From panels to tapes, from toilet and shower fittings the beds and beddings.

A friend called up his friend in a neighbouring country for beds and beddings. No problem, back came the answer.

The beds came, mattresses 2m*1m and 18cm thick. Pillows, pillow cases, bedsheets, the lot. 5000 sets all within a week.

And guess what - they were supplied at cost. The owner said it was for humanitarian cause, and just charged us at cost.

He wasn’t the first to extend that unexpected touch of care and support. There were so many others too.

But every time this happened, we can’t help but be so touched and thankful, so thankful for kindness, and so thankful for friendships.

A huge huge thanks to many of the bapaks who gave our teams the wind beneath our wings to chiong confidently.
