Pregnant woman's hubby shouted at me to give up MRT seat although I'm pregnant too

STOMPer May was shocked when a pregnant woman's husband threatened her to give up her MRT priority seat even though she was pregnant herself.

In an email to STOMP today (Mar 27), the STOMPer says:

"I'm 3 months pregnant and been feeling sick so I was lucky to get a priority seat during peak hour.

"One man came in with his wife. Her stomach looked bigger than mine but I wanted to make sure she's pregnant and not fat.

"And also, I wasn't feeling that well too. The guy shouted at me 'WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT' and threatened me to give up my seat. I got up and told him I'm also pregnant.

"Not only did he not apologise, he stared at me as if he was going to beat me up throughout the journey.

"Why don't he shout at those people sleeping beside me? Why must he bully a pregnant, helpless lady?

"His behaviour was totally uncultured, ungracious and unacceptable.

"And to think that he is also going to be a parent."

I bet my last dollar that the man belongs to the group that 'relax one corner'. A chinese would have been too ashamed to let his preg wife squeeze train and yet still got cheek to beg for seats.

I THOught the relak one corner race is always regarded as frenly and good soccer players while Chinese are always rude and unfrenly
