It was a Saturday afternoon, so I took over my car immediately after they returned to run an errand. I noticed my son's perspiration on the driver's seatbelt. There was a faint sourish odour in the car.

similar worse experience for me.........my boy went hiking with his friends, their muddy shoes entered my car.

a few years ago, a good friend had issues at home, went drinking, and puke all over my car when I drove him back. Then scared his wife angry, i detoured and brought him to my place to shower before going home. My car smelled like alcohol and puke for 2-3 weeks.

sighzzzzzzzzzz i got to wash the car for two days in both cases.

My wife once packed wanton mee soup home for lunch in a tiffin carrier (tingkat) which toppled inside the car when she made a U-turn on the way home. The smell stayed on the floormat and carpet for several months despite repeated washings.
