What da heck is this?

It's about time this monkey business get's aired.I come across this quite often.MPs appeal but institutions ignore.Which effectively means MPs are no better than any road side letter writers.Myself had seen my MP only once; about the ineffectiveness of his own town council....what transpired,I swore never to see a MP again. An undergrad girlie ,as a grass-root helper, listened to me and typed the letter.Half the time not understanding the issue at hand.I could pen the same letter a 100% better in a more coherent way which would have better expressed my emotions. The MP on duty on that day, happens to be a senior minister---just read the same letter to me replacing with quotes like ,'I have written'; with an emphasis on 'I' not bating an eyelid nor looking at me.

Now,we are talking about senior ministers writing letters to authorities. How is it that authorities can simply ignore it by motherhood standard stereotype replies.Imagine,as in my case, the head of the town council with clout writing to his underlings who dares to ignore his top dog letter of demand !.....

I had already made up my mind.If I were to see an MP again;no more letter writing.Neither would I submit myself to any of his underlings. One to one talk-only to the MP.If he wants to write a letter seeking clarifications to authorities,so be it.But I won't accept any letter from any authority.I would be back again to the MP meet session 7 or 10 days later and let the MP reply to me-personally.And I shall question him there and than itself.

Enough is enough of this overpaid wayang.

Wow, the letter writer's English must be really really bad if it's '100%' worse than yours...

They either think in Hokkien or Mandarin, and write in English, which is, type in English. This is common!

You missed the sarcasm.iconchia is actually implying that my own skill in English writing is outrageous. That is because iconchia could most probably a clone of whom I crossed sword lately.

Notwithstanding, not many can measure well in expressing their emotive electronically. It's an art.The very reason why all these smilies were invented.Even than they are poor substitutes.I had known of people who can really fire you up with mere words.Nothing bombastic, just plain simple words. But they way it is constructed metaphorically ,speaks of wits dripping all over --slay of words that are sharper than a sword.

Anyway, the gist of my contention is not really in the quality of letter writings per ce.Heck, who cares if the cat is white or black so long as it catches the mouse.I am talking about the ineffectiveness of MP writing letters--any letter for that matter.
