What da heck is this?
It's about time this monkey business get's aired.I come across this quite often.MPs appeal but institutions ignore.Which effectively means MPs are no better than any road side letter writers.Myself had seen my MP only once; about the ineffectiveness of his own town council....what transpired,I swore never to see a MP again. An undergrad girlie ,as a grass-root helper, listened to me and typed the letter.Half the time not understanding the issue at hand.I could pen the same letter a 100% better in a more coherent way which would have better expressed my emotions. The MP on duty on that day, happens to be a senior minister---just read the same letter to me replacing with quotes like ,'I have written'; with an emphasis on 'I' not bating an eyelid nor looking at me.
Now,we are talking about senior ministers writing letters to authorities. How is it that authorities can simply ignore it by motherhood standard stereotype replies.Imagine,as in my case, the head of the town council with clout writing to his underlings who dares to ignore his top dog letter of demand !.....
I had already made up my mind.If I were to see an MP again;no more letter writing.Neither would I submit myself to any of his underlings. One to one talk-only to the MP.If he wants to write a letter seeking clarifications to authorities,so be it.But I won't accept any letter from any authority.I would be back again to the MP meet session 7 or 10 days later and let the MP reply to me-personally.And I shall question him there and than itself.
Enough is enough of this overpaid wayang.
