20-years ago knew a Singaporean originally there to trade and process flour, than explore further on trade of whatever the market need, for example construction materials.
10-years ago, many Singapore PMET posted there by Singapore or foreign company there and later stay back and start their own operations.
heard lately Vietnam government ditch government long term employment practice, means if you are not up to task you are out, not like old communist practice where country will feed you till you die as long as you join the party.
This might invite more foreign investor into vietnam.
