September 5, 2015 - Written By Kristijan Lucic

As you already know, Motorola has unveiled three new handsets at the end of July, the Moto X Style / Pure, Moto X Play and the third-gen Moto G smartphone. We’ve already talked about each of these devices plenty of times, but are here to talk more about the Moto X Style considering we have some new info coming our way from China. As you all know, Motorola Mobility is now technically a Chinese company considering Lenovo purchased it a while back. That being said, the company has released their Moto G (2nd-gen), Moto X (2nd-gen) and Nexus 6 (called Moto X Pro in China) in that Asian country a while back. It was just a matter of time before Motorola announces the availability of the new-gen device(s) in China, read on.
Motorola has released a teaser for the arrival of Moto X Style in China, well, this isn’t much of a teaser considering they flat out say ‘Moto X Style’ and also share the date of the event. Motorola will unveiled the Moto X Style in China on September 8th, and you can also expect it to be supported by Moto Maker considering that it has been available in China for quite some time now. Anyhow, the Moto X Style sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). This phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, and it ships with a non-removable 3,000mAh battery on the inside. The 21-megapixel shooter is available on the back of the Moto X Style, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. This phablet ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed, almost a stock version, Motorola did add a couple of home-baked apps though. The Moto X Style is water repellant, and it offers 4G LTE connectivity. The device measures 153.9 x 76.2 x 11.1mm, while it weighs 179 grams.
There you have it, the Moto X Style will launch in China on September 8th, and we’ll make sure to let you know if anything else pops up in the meantime, We still don’t know how much will the device cost over there, but we’ll find out soon, stay tuned.
