S'pore spa offers prata dough body therapy
Prata (a pan-fried Indian snack that is eaten with curry) is not only delicious to eat.
Now a Singaporean spa has come up with a body therapy using the prata dough, Nanyang Siang Pau, Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported.
The spa centre, Rustic Nirvana, is offering the therapy claiming that the dough had detoxifying properties and therapeutic effects when rubbed on the body.
Centre founder Yvette Chiang said she wanted to offer something truly Singaporean and thought of prata since it is a famous food.
The dailies reported Chiang as saying that the dough could help relax the skin. Each session costs $230.
