The problem with non assisted suicides is that most methods are not reliable and many end up half dead and in no position to try again.

As you can see even a gunshot to the head is not 100% reliable.

Paying for assisted suicide avoids the risk of ending up half dead instead of fully, completely and utterly dead.

You cannot stop anyone who has honestly lost his will to live. No amount of counselling or SOS hotline can help someone who has unequivocally lost that will.

That's so true! If a person wants to end his life, he will succeed. Failure is not an option! Counselling only works for those who feels like dying but still wants to give life a last shot!
