More illegal cough syrup seized
Over 8,000 litres of codeine-laced mixtures seized in last two years

A CRACKDOWN on illegal sellers in the past two years has coughed up a higher quantity of cough mixtures laced with the pain-relieving drug codeine.
More than 8,000 litres of the mixtures were seized in 2009 and last year, said the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB).
