In a release, jobsDB today announced the findings of its recent Hiring Index Survey that canvassed the opinions of 233 companies in Singapore on their hiring plans and preferences in the coming months. Among other findings, the Survey uncovered that holding a University degree is not the determining factor in securing a job in Singapore.

Interestingly, the Survey revealed that 67% of respondents will be hiring in the next three months, and a further 40% reported they would hire foreign talent. 81% of available positions are for junior executives, followed by 52% for entry level, 35% for senior executives, 24% for managers and 11% for top senior management.

What kind of fucking cheebye report is this? :oIo:

81% Junior Executive, i take it as the 52% entry level is under the 81% Junior Executive category.
35% Senior Executives, i take it as 24% Manager and 11% Top Senior Management.

Total 81% + 35% = 116%????? :kma:

The reasons why ITE grads are favoured over Poly grads are favoured over Degree grads, its becoz all bosses are greedy and want to pay workers less.

Someone should forward the report above to Gilbert.

The title of the post "Nearly 7 in 10 Singapore firms to go on a hiring spree....." is misleading.

Will these Sinkie firms hire Sinkies or foreigners?

When AEC (Asean Economic Community) materialises, I foresee 10 in 10 Sinkie firms will go on a massive hiring spree; yeah, prefering to hire citizens of other Southeast Asian countries because they are cheaper and younger. Sinkie PMETs will be screwed hard then.
