This is no ordinary cloth! Cyclist uses S'pore flag to shelter bike from rain

STOMPer Flagged spotted this bike covered by the national flag this morning at Toa Payoh East CC. The flags were tied at intervals along the railing and it appears that the owner used the flag to shelter his bicycle from the rain.

In her email contribution, the STOMPer wrote:

"I saw this bicycle parked against the fence along Toa Payoh East CC this morning.

"Our national flag was covering the bicycle, as if to shelter the bicycle from the rain.

"There are gaps between the flags along the stretch, so why couldn't the cyclist have put his bicycle at one of those areas?

"Also, I don't think it's possible the wind could have flipped the flag over the bicycle.

"If the bicycle had been over the flag, there's no way the wind could have lifted the latter.

"So sad! Please have more respect for our flag and not use it to shelter your bicycle!"

to the FTs, the citizenship is a piece of toilet paper. This is just a piece of cloth top them. And since it is there, why not put it to good just as a shelter too ?
