My sister has been a nurse for 20 years. The shortage of hospitals has been around for 10 years but yet, the PAP did not solve the problem.

Are army bases more important than citizens’ health? Face the fact, Internet is defeating Singapore Propaganda House. They have been in power because of their grip on the media. What problems? All the problems and the evil side of PAP are being brushed aside by the devilishly clever Singapore Propaganda House.

Reading the Singapore Propaganda House’s depiction of the 50 years of PAP rule is like watching an Indian movie, where the heroes are always right and they always win. The result? Singapore is now becoming a third world country. The worst part is their inept performances are being rewarded with monstrously huge salaries beyond our imagination. What kind of leaders are we having in Singapore?

Do we have an insane government with so many army bases? Drive around in Singapore. Have you ever wondered why there are so many army bases? Changi to Changi village, whole stretch of of it. Mandai, Sembawang, Yishun, Lim Chu Kang, Tuas, Hillview, Tekong etc. They occupy large chunks of Singapore’s land.
Is our Government suffering from OCD?
Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by intrusive thoughts that produce uneasiness, apprehension, fear, or worry; by repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing the associated anxiety; or by a combination of such obsessions and compulsions. Symptoms of the disorder include excessive washing or cleaning; repeated checking; extreme hoarding; preoccupation with sexual, violent or religious thoughts;relationship-related obsessions; aversion to particular numbers; and nervous rituals, such as opening and closing a door a certain number of times before entering or leaving a room.

These symptoms can be alienating and time-consuming, and often cause severe emotional and financial distress. The acts of those who have OCD may appear paranoid and potentially psychotic. However, OCD sufferers generally recognize their obsessions and compulsions as irrational and may become further distressed by this realization.
Yes readers, they are psychotic. Travelling to the new estates of Sengkang and Sembawang, I was horrified. Miles of flats packed so close together just like zoo cages. Are we are a nation of pigeon holes? Why do we need to live in this horrific way? Because of our insane Government? We are well aware that rape victims suffer trauma after the horrific incident they have gone through and they can become psychotic.

Did LKY’s fear of our Muslim neighbours or illusion that Singapore is just like a Jewish state making him psychotic? Or is he already a psycho? I believe the Government needs to seek treatment as they have wasted billions on military toys. We are tiny. Can these billion-dollar toys really protect us? Be realistic.

This rape-victim trauma analogy can also be found in the US government after September 11. They became psychotic, spending trillions on unnecessary wars that made them bankrupt. They invaded Iraq thinking that it had weapons of mass destruction but they couldn’t find any after the invasion. They even spied on their own allies.

Seriously, our government needs to see a doctor or it will get worse. Let me tell you why. The sickness in their heads may very well bankrupt Singapore just like the US government and I am very concerned. After buying F35s, then what? F50? F60? F100? When you spend money like this buying all these billion-dollar toys, you think our neighbours will just sit still? We are actually triggering an unhealthy arms race here in South East Asia!! As the saying goes, he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

We know that people have lost millions in casinos and the stock market is nothing more than a casino. Our CPF money, being borrowed by the government, running into billions, is used to gamble in the stock markets of the world. Our people are crying for their CPF especially those above 55 to be returned to them, but their cries are simply ignored. They have no emotions just like any gambler. They are very cold. And wasn’t it their psycho nature that drove up the properties prices? Weren’t they the ones orchestrating the property hike in the first place? Otherwise, how else can a couple of hectares of land in Marina South be worth billions from what I read in TRE? So that they can feed their insane gambling habits and militarization?

Readers, I am very worried about the future of Singapore. From their own mouth, when asked why the need to pay themselves high salaries, they psychotically said something about not wanting to be looked down upon when meeting with CEOs of corporation. People look up to you, not because of your astronomical salaries but rather, the good job you are doing for the people. That is why I have deduced that they are insane. This elitist thinking of PAP confirms that they are a bunch of crazy people – they think that people will look up to them because of their high salaries rather than one’s ability to serve the people well.

They have failed miserably. Period. The PAP system needs to be changed because they reward the trolls and the bootlickers – PAP members who lick their bosses’ boots with their tongue and sing praises at the expense of citizens’ welfare.

an idea to consider....why not turn imh into a "regular" hospital and use some camps for those ko-long-song (no, not you - song-song-jurong) patients as the premises are well guarded.....safe for outsiders and keeps them safe too :*:

The more bases the more Chan Chun Sing can sell his XO brand of sauce

But army camps all have a well-equipped medical centre with highly qualified MOs and medics? No? ;)

most of us have gone through ns and know that out of ten of these fellas, 9 can fall out.
furthermore, camps are easily converted - nee soon can be the 2nd Alexandra hospital.
the mt sgt can be incharge of the ambulance (pol/mt line), retired rsm/csm can be chief of security / gardeners / taxi stand / area cleaning etc, cook sgt etc can all be given secondary careers.......best of all, the armoury can be fitted with refrigeration units for those that need to chill

I don't see anything wrong with that. Army bases are just as important as hospitals.

Without a strong defense network, hospitals would be useless.

the living and the sick are treated in tents and they're not there for a picnic, give them a real experience in a camp converted hospital with the attendant comforts as in Alexandra hospital.
and while we're at it, the budget can be increased for health svcs instead of new toys.

it's true that there are too many Army camps. should demolish some of them. some camps are even in very good locations. developers would love to build condos and shopping centers there.

maju camp in clementi and hq 3 sib in ulu pandan (although now leased out for hostel use) are two good examples.

Ha ha ha ha!

You do not for even half a moment can think Singaporeans will take up arms to fight another country do you?

SINKIES WELCOME WAR WITH ANY COUNTRY.
SINGAPOREANS WILL REGARD OTHER COUNTRY AS THEIR SAVIOUR AND ALLY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST SMEAR OF SHIT ON SOLE OF SHOE LKY AND HIS PAP BASTARDS

SINKIES WILL TAKE UP ARMS AND POINT AT THE FUCKING PAP AND SHOOT THEM ALL WITH THEIR FUCKING PAPER GENERALS

The camp at Ulu Pandan was once a school for medics, before they converted it to a hostel.

Another camp at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan Road was a Provost camp.

Maju Camp is a FCC for NSmen to take IPPT and do RT... they had invested in a lot of high tech equipment, so it won't be demolished.

Even if a military camp is demolished... chances are they'll build another mall/condo in its place. As if we don't have enough of those already.

Why bring army bases into the picture? Remove all the golf courses and you will have lots of land for hospitals and HDB flats.

Singapore is a rich man's playground, take away their golf courses sekali they not happy and take their money out of Singapore, then how? ;)

The writer has no business sense at all. If we have too many hospitals, the increased competition and excess bed capacity will only lead to lower hospital charges and lower profits.

The defence budget is double that of healthcare. I recall during the 2004 Asian Tsunami, Singapore Armed Forces provided a substantial amount of special medical equipment that were purchased to support SAF in times of need but never actually required during peacetime.

Meanwhile Singapore is suffering from bed shortages? OMG!
