Monsanto purchases Searle and forms NutraSweet Company. Amidst all the death and disease, FDA chief Arthur Hull resigns and is hired by Searle as a senior scientific consultant.

Monsanto is sued for giving radioactive iron to 829 pregnant women for a study to see what would happen to them.
FDA approves Monsanto’s Synthetic Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH), produced from a genetically modified E. coli bacteria, Monsanto claims that milk, full of antibiotics and hormones is not only safe, but actually good for you!
Dairy companies who label their products “rBGH-free” are sued by Monsanto, claiming it gives them an unfair advantage over competitors that did.
Monsanto produces GMO crops that are tolerant to their own toxic herbicide Roundup. Roundup-ready canola oil, soybeans, corn and cotton hits the market, advertised as being safer and healthier than their non-GMO rivals.
GM crops are engineered to ‘self-pollinate,’ and when bees attempt to pollinate a GM plant, it gets poisoned and dies. In fact, bee colony collapses began since GM crops were introduced.
Monsanto buys out Beeologics, the largest bee research firm that studied the colony collapse phenomenon and whose research named Monsanto as the primary culprit.
Monsanto then focused on controlling the world’s food supply to preserve the Roundup market-share against less-toxic herbicides. Roundup is so toxic that it wipes out non-GMO crops, insects, animals, human health and the environment.
All non-Monsanto crops would be destroyed, forcing farmers to use only its terminator seeds. And Monsanto made sure farmers who refused were driven out of business or sued when windblown terminator seeds poisoned organic farms.
This gave Monsanto a virtual monopoly in terminator seed crops and Roundup as GMO crops could not survive in a non-chemical environment so farmers were forced to buy both. Monsanto then began buying up seed companies and turns them into terminator seed companies to eliminate organic food yet Monsanto banned GM foods from their own employee cafeterias.

Monsanto begins filing patents on breeding techniques for pigs, claiming animals bred any way remotely similar to their patent would grant them ownership. So loose was this patent filing that it became obvious they wanted to claim all pigs bred throughout the world would infringe upon their patent.
Monsanto spreads to India and over 100,000 farmers bankrupted by GMO crop failure, commit suicide. Monsanto then alerted the media to a new project to assist Indian farmers by donating the very things that caused crop failures in the first place. Forbes names Monsanto “company of the year.”
Monsanto sponsors The Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009: HR 875 which gives corporate factory farms a virtual monopoly to police and control all foods grown anywhere, and provides harsh penalties and jail sentences for those who do not use chemicals and President Obama gave his approval. Monsanto claims that only GM foods are safe and organic foods will spread disease, and must be regulated out of existence.
