There are 2 principles regarding peoples' choices:Guess what I'm trying to say is to not be a slave to intellectualism and logic. These are just tools to serve our expedient pursuits. The world doesn't behave rationally, all the time. For instance, a strong case could be made for the claim that life is meaningless. Does that mean then that those who hold such a position e.g me should commit suicide en masse? Well, if one's a slave to logic, he will definitely kill himself rather than to waste his time and energy living a meaningless existence. But humans are not just logical. We also have the anti-logic: instincts. Who cares if life is meaningless? We fear the pain that usually precedes death. We instinctively fear death. Therefore, we live on even though we've no freaking idea what we are living for. Evolutionary biologists can trot out all the scientific data in the world to explain that the meaning of life is simply to spread our genes. The logical corollary then for men is to be promiscuous. But do they really think a guy is trying to bed that hot secretary of his because he wanted to spread his genes? What are condoms for then? Many bachelors and bachelorettes these days even hate having children. Guys have sex because it feels good. DuhEven the "feel-good" drive i.e pleasure is erratic and inconsistent. We don't always do what feels good e.g dieting women and fire-walking Hindus. At the end of the day, people are more concerned with being happy and satisfied than whether their lives are logical or "real"

1. People always do things for a reason.
Why do people continue to live even if they find life meaningless? It could be because they are afraid to die. The pain from the act of dying or even the fear of the unknown after death. Why do some commit suicide? It could be because they find it too painful to live for whatever reason.
The reason may be logical or illogical, it may be one you agree or disagree with, but there's always a reason.
2. People always do things to make things better, never worse.
Why do some commit suicide? It's because they think that it will be better for them, or perhaps better for their loved ones.
Again, the reasoning may be logical or illogical, or one that you agree or disagree with. But it's that person's reason. And it's always to make things better. May or may not be better for himself. But it's better for someone or for some reason.
