Mobile Data on MRT Getting Worse​

General

I have been using SIMBA and Singtel for my mobile data for my two phones and I realise that the mobile data in the MRT (even outside of the tunnel) has been very bad. I am not talking about streaming videos on youtube, sometimes I cant even send out messages. Does it happen to anyone else as well? and which data provider have a better network?

I used to remember just a few years back, the data connectivity was much better, at least I am able to scoll through most of the news article or even tiktok. Now with the so-called 5G, the connectivity is just hit the rock bottom that I thought I was back in the early 2000s.

Feels like SG is a first-world country with a third-world connectivity. I have been to places with less developed infrastructure but the data connectivity was much better than SG.

Stupid Singtel home wifi can't even receive signal when inside my room which is not even 5 metre away. In the end, need to subscribe for additional router to put in side my room ...

I believe 5G is still in its baby stage. Unlike the transition from 3G to 4G, where backend equipment could often be upgraded through simple module replacements and software updates, 5G requires a much more complex integration. It involves deploying entirely new 5G radio hardware and installing dedicated 5G antennas alongside existing 4G infrastructure on cell towers. Further the 5G antennas are directional which cause the weak handphone signal received by your handphone if not at the line of sight unlike 4G antenna which is omni directional

The 5G cells towers and antenna were there to do electric culling (create cardiac arrest, turbo cancers and covid), not meant to provide good reception for the sheeple’s hand phones. Hence, sheeple always have reception problems for a good reason lol

The sheeple have been misunderstood and thought the government was so kind to provide good reception for their handphones

The sheeple always think that the government will provide them the best of the world because they have paid their taxes lol
