SINGAPORE: Minister of State for Health and Manpower Dr Amy Khor will lead a tripartite delegation to attend the 102nd Session of the International Labour Conference.

The event will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, 13-17 June.

The Ministry of Manpower said the delegation will comprise Labour Chief Lim Swee Say, President of the Singapore National Employers Federation Stephen Lee, as well as unions.

This year's conference is set to discuss issues such as employment and social protection.

I thought one Perm Sec once said that ..."if u got a good team, u can take long leave ...no problem" so much so he and his family enrolled in some fancy French cooking course for months on end. So Ms Khor must have a good team of worker bees to handle the current health crisis...whilst she do something more ..."strategic" for the nation.

(my) parents were always very impressed when their kids did well in their corporate jobs and got to fly business class on company assignments. kids were even to the point of boasting about how "good" in work they were that they get to fly business class.
my reply was always, if business class so good that must boast about it, why don't they themselves pay for business class when they go on their own holidays...

and i add, pay for business class your self , then MAYBE can boast a bit. but fly business class on company money just means more expense for the company. nothng to boast about

Those rules are merely guidelines when you are up there ...the minister won't deny his claim for more. But if you offend the PAP some time down the road, they will use this against you. Remember CSJ got fired over a $100 courier charge.
