MIW and their cronies plus all their relatives own far too many properties in S'pore for them to act against their own interest. Any measures to arrest escalating prices is only temporary. Rental market is also critical to them. They cannot be staying in ALL their properties. Do not neglect the fact that many of the developers are great pals of the MIW especially one Mr Chua from Ho Bee.

It is fine if foreigners want to buy a piece of singapore but they must sell it back to singaporeans so that chunks of this country don't end up percolating only amongst the few foreigners who can afford it as with the present situation ...just take a look at Sentosa cove.... full of PRCs and empty bungalows,.....

This way we can make sure that if foreigners intend to profit from Singapore, the land still ends up back in the hands of Singapore citizens and not yet another foreigner who can just manipulate a ding-dong false market transactions to chase overall prices up and wreak havoc....This was how Singapore's prices went triple.

When it crashes, there will be blood on the streets and the manipulators will be laughing all the way to the bank...
