As Minister of Health, Gan Kim Yong has overseen some of the worse cock-ups in our medical system. Below are some examples:

- Hepatitis C outbreak at SGH which affected 25 patients, of which eight have died.

- Online leak of confidential information of 14,200 HIV-positive people.

- SingHealth data breach where data on some 1.5 million Singaporeans was compromised

- Severe bed crunch at Singapore’s public hospitals.

- Inadequacy of MediShield plans.

Do we have confidence in him as far as taking charge of affairs surrounding the Wuhan Virus epidemic are concerned?

From the way how it’s managed so far, it’s just a matter of time Singaporeans will be infected.
