but come day time, roof still closed to prevent natural sunlight to enter.

They shouldn't have built the retractable roof. Some scholar twit probably decided that it was a good idea for bragging rights without considering the practicality of it.

I know what they will buy next. Automatic timer to open the roof. Staff sleeping or too busy to do the job. Btw is the stadium now private or public owned and paid by taxpayers money?

Here is an example of a new multi-purpose stadium done right.

It is a modest 23k seater stadium in Hungary, but it is still a decent UEFA-approved stadium.

No grass problems, and I suspect much less money was spent to build it.

stadium has a use now though,its become a hotspot for schools to conduct their extracirricular activities there and a place for sinkies to do their exercise.because they can run around the huge stadium(not inside,outside). and later they can head to the nearby shopping center for lunch.
