TELCOS Starhub and M1 will begin selling micro-SIM cards on Saturday - the kind that will fit into 3G models of the must-have tech toy of the moment, the Apple iPad.
Both telcos are making the card available with their existing mobile broadband plans.
In a statement on Thursday, Starhub said that it has fully tested the compatibility of the microSIM card with the 7.2mbps mobile broadband service, the MaxMobile Ultimate Plan.
Its spokesman said the usage of microSIM card is expected to become popular in the future.

However, many Singaporeans are one step ahead, as they have already solved the issue by cutting their normal SIM cards down to the size of a micro-SIM, just to fit the iPad 3G.
