In short, "high LDL and not taking statins" is actually healthier than "low LDL by using statins".

LDL levels do not tell the entire story about cardiovascular health, ie. depending on your genetics, diet (eg. keto diet), lifestyle, and your blood triglycerides : HDL : LDL ratios, high LDL levels might be actually be indicative of good cardiovascular health, not poor cardiovascular health (as most doctors, including cardiologists, automatically assume, an erroneous over-simplification).

Thank God for that as mine is high

Cardiologist Dr. Nadir Ali's speech : "Do statins prevent or cause heart disease? Should LDL be called 'bad' Cholesterol?"
