Just spent a few dollars of petrol giving the latest PAP show-off Expressway. At around 12pm, bangla-nehs were see hanging up cardboard signs along Fort Road, directing motorists how to join the chaos to MCE. (Drive up the service road towards Airport, turn down to join the usually already jammed ECP). Be ready for more multiple directional signs to confuse you.
And quite a few of the "MCE" signboards appeared to be no more than A4 size. (I kid you not).
Further down, all the way to the former Prince Edward Road exit, directional signs pointing to all sorts of places, mostly of new names. The already very small signs (meant for cyclists?) were also stupidly placed. You can see two signs placed in a row no more than 2 metres apart. How to read, look out for cars, and decide where to turn?
And the biggest irony of it all - we were told that it would be a 80km per hour - I was hard put doing more than 55kph on a public holiday.
LKY would be so proud - someone should take him for a spin there.
