MBA or CFA?

Don't bother studying for a CFA... too many people have it, including the FTs.
If a skill or qualification isn't exclusive enough, it's no good at all.

A MBA... it depends. Some people study for a MBA for fun... they treat it as a break from working. Others take a sabbatical to study exotic courses overseas.
Of course, if you are a peasant class Sinkie living from paycheck to paycheck and are saddled with hefty debts, you don't have this luxury. ;)

if i do cfa or mba, i do it purely out of passion and interest...

I know of chartered accountants and MBA holders working for a uni dropout.
The trouble with taught degrees without practical experience is that they are useless.
Too many graduates out there.
