Yeah that’s rather unfortunate… he seems to have some understanding of elevating MY to international standing though. I thought the original MM2H was good, though it was unnecessary to give RM100k subsidy to buy a BMW. And the HSR was a visionary project that can really improve the international standing of the country. Too bad all these plans mired with kickbacks and corruption and brought the country down. A younger Mahathir would have been good for the country. When he took over, he needed to cancel all the Najib linked projects to prove his point. In the end all these sacrifices for nothing.
