UPDATE, MAY 3RD: The Prime Minister of Israel has cancelled a trip to China, purportedly due to upcoming Israeli elections. A plausible reason. However, note that this trip was to make up for the last trip to China Israel cancelled 2 years ago -- a great affront unless under exceptional circumstances. What could such conditions be?

Reports out of Israel have verified that the Knesset has approved the call up of 6 reserve battalions to be placed on the borders with Syria and Egypt, with 16 more reserve battalions in the waiting for their own call up. Normally, reserves would not be called up for rotation until year's end, making this an unusual circumstance, especially due to the sheer numbers of soldiers being summoned.

This is just wayang wayang only ... no sensible military and political organisation would go thru a open mobilization prior to launching a surgical strike or attack.
The element of surprise which is so crucial for success and lower casualty in any covert strike is lost. This is a tactical move to add pressure on Iran prior to
the next run of Nuclear Talk on 13-14 May in Baghdad.

Watch it when they stop mobilizing and send their soldiers home. Back in 1967, that was the prelude to war.

Note also the apparent schism between their CDF and the government about whether Iran has nuclear intentions. My guess is that it was more to confuse the potential enemy than real differences in opinion.

Will all this definitely lead to war in the near future? No, but I'm sure it will lead to, or has led to some form of hostile operation on Israel's enemies.

May 13-14 meeting at Baghdad is the last chance for Iran ... after that, all options are on the table!
US already deployed their F-22 stealth fighter/bomber to UAE last week ... both as a show force and strike contingency plan.
