1. If we do not continue to import foreign workers, the economy will go into a tailspin and your daughters will end up as maids in other countries.

2. If we help the poor too much, we will end up a welfare state where nobody will work and everyone waits for handouts.

3. If we allow one person to protest, more will follow and there will be pandemonium on the streets everyday.

4. If we legislate a minimum wage, companies will fold and move elsewhere, unemployment will rise and the economy will crash.

5. If we do not pay our ministers well, we will attract corrupt and hypocritical office holders who plunder our reserves and ruin the country.

6. If we abolish the ISA, terrorists will run amok, bombs will go off and the country will descend into darkness.

7. If we allow every worker to withdraw their full CPF upon retirement, they will squander all their money frivolously and recklessly (on casinos and other ill-advised investments).

8. If we allow biased political films and cartoons, it will denigrate the standing of our political leaders and undermine the people's confidence in the government.

9. If we allow free discourse on race and religion, it will create social disharmony which will lead to a repeat of the 1964 racial riots.

10. If we allow the opposition to take over, garbage will pile up, assets will depreciate, investors will stay away, reserves will be squandered and the country is finished.

One more for the road.

“If you want to dance on a bar top, some of us will fall off the bar top. Some people will die as a result of liberalising bar top dancing… a young girl with a short skirt dancing on it may attract some insults from some other men, the boyfriend will start fighting and some people will die.” - Vivian Balakrishnan

1. If we do not continue to import foreign workers, the economy will go into a tailspin and your daughters will end up as maids in other countries.
Thanks to Ruler Loong ideas poverty. He has many full moons to break the economic rent extraction policies but choose the easy way out to build a few casinos, bring in F1 and other expensive self-glorifying events e.g. YOG. All in the name of attracting foreign merchants to this island flooded with cheap labour.

2. If we help the poor too much, we will end up a welfare state where nobody will work and everyone waits for handouts.
Ruler Loong simply tax the poor to help the poor, hinting to them they are are unwelcome in Peasantpore. Similarly his papa used the same tricks many full moons ago, forcing poor peasants to go for abortions to ease pressures on the state coffers. Instead Ruler Loong helped the rich and ended up with a lazy bunch of fat cats who expects bailouts regularly. For example, foreign and local merchants demands cheap Asiatic slaves and they get it. State owned corporations lobbied and secured bailouts (Tarman's buses giveaway) and fee hikes. Why? Because he needs fat cats' support to suppress the stupid and indolent peasants!

3. If we allow one person to protest, more will follow and there will be pandemonium on the streets everyday.
The regime allowed MANY loansharks to vandalise and harass peasants, do we see pandemonium? Crap logic. The Poodles expend so much efforts to harass political protesters but told peasants to waste money filing civil suits if they are beaten up for ruffians or foreigners?!

4. If we legislate a minimum wage, companies will fold and move elsewhere, unemployment will rise and the economy will crash.
Former Hongkie Donkey Donald Tsang had the same idea. In the end, he was forced to retire in disgrace over his pro-merchant policies that resist minimum wages for Hongkie peasants. The wage divide caused many Hongkie Donkeys to seethe with rage as they cope with sky high inflation.

5. If we do not pay our minions well, we will attract corrupt and hypocritical office holders who plunder our reserves and ruin the country.
Nordic and NZ states proved otherwise. They have cheaper office holders, lesser corrupt lackeys and are as rich as Peasantpore. Enron is another example where you have well paying dogs committing fraud to keep the gravy cumming. The 2008 Jewish Banking Crisis is another example where well paid executives took excessive risks to meet wage linked KPIs. Incompetent lackeys are more likely plunder state resources. Ho Jinx+Old Autocrat and they team of baboons commited silly mistakes and lost billions in crazy overseas speculation, they have plundered Peasantpore's reserves compared to a small potato like CNB's Ah Gay (cum shooter expert).

A good reminder on the bullshit propaganda that the Pappies have been shoving down our throats.

These lies, if propagated and reinforced often enough, will in time become the truth for sheeplike Sinkies.

they missed out [11].

11] if you agreed that [1] to [10] is for your benefit , your will become my slave for life.

6. If we abolish the ISA, terrorists will run amok, bombs will go off and the country will descend into darkness.
Commie PRC has more dracionian laws, its worse than Peasantpore's Infernal Security Act. But the hapless Commie PRC lackeys still see bombs going off regularly, thanks to various crazy cukoos throughout their realm.

7. If we allow every worker to withdraw their full CPF upon retirement, they will squander all their money frivolously and recklessly (on casinos and other ill-advised investments).
As we have proven earlier, Ho Jinx and Old Autocrat squander more money bailing out their Jewish and Swiss chums. Old peasants will probably spend less on PRC beer ladies. Going by such facts, there should be a restraining to prevent those two wastrels from bankrupting the cuntry instead the silly laws confiscating pensions? Another example of a hypocritical law and crap logic.

8. If we allow biased political films and cartoons, it will denigrate the standing of our political rulers and undermine the peasants' confidence in the regime.
Without the netizens' arty farty discourses, Marboro Tan would have escape charges of mismanaging public housing. Penang Laksa will escape with his higher than normal co-payment and Means Testing vile policies. Those discourses are more damaging than crazy political films or cartoons. This is an relic of the past where political films and cartoons are known as 'new media' to forment discontent and should be abolished. The standing of minions already took a bit beating when greedy minions demand million dollar stipends to run a rent driven Uncle Sam vassal state.

9. If we allow free discourse on race and religion, it will create social disharmony which will lead to a repeat of the 1964 racial riots.
The 1960s riots were started by Northern Mats due Old Autocrat's wild dreams to chase his PM dreams up north.

10. If we allow the opposition pariahs to take over, garbage will pile up, assets will depreciate, investors will stay away, reserves will be squandered and the country is finished.
With the Familee entrenched as the First Among Equals, reserves are squandered bailing out Jewish/Swiss banks and greedy state corporations e.g. SMRT/SBS Transit. Assets appreciate because Peasantpore as Uncle Sam's vassal supported the massive US dollar printing exercise. With Ruler Loong helming the country, purchasing power of local peasants actually decreased with sky high standard of living.

One more for the road.

I like the quote where Pinky says he has to spend more time trying to fix the opposition.

One and Only Question : WHOM DID THEY VOTE FOR, period, end of argument!

All the arguments can be summed up in 1 argument that has been passed down and inherited:

"If we don't do it my way, we will be finished."

A lot of things that the PAP say does not matter anymore. It is like fart. Just that if the fart gets too offensive in smell, someone make kick the farter.

Out of the 10, most people, including many oppo supporters, would support the status quo on 2: not allowing unfettered protests and in retaining the ISA.

You are either very young or very naive, a product of years of state indoctrination...

In a free society do we need ISA and what is wrong with street protest? Afterall, the government is elected by the people and you mean the electorate has got no right to speak our mind on issues affecting us and tell the government what we think and how we feel?

No, I'm not young. I've been a longtime oppo supporter but not one that supports oppo parties that make the 2 points I mentioned centrepieces of their political plank. If those parties contest my constituency I will simply spoil my ballot. But other oppo supporters might actually decide to support the PAP. Everything is relative.

My points remain as is.

Who built the casinos? Duh??? as for splurging money on some Batam mistress, the money could have been well spent on a local mistress here if the cost was not too high to buy a 2nd house and raise the illegitimate kids here! no wonder the TFR is down ....
