good summary.
his early films were very clear thematically and it resonated with a lot of people. It was a believable one guy can make a difference morality tale that had satisfyng endings. (bad guy bites the dust poorly)

If you watch them now it’ll be like bad comedy but back then that was his niche.
His peers like Van Damme and Wesley Snipes were in similar roles. Before that we had people like Chuck Norris.
To a certain extent Sly Stallone was also in the same module but Sly was smarter he knew how to evolve and remain relevant thus he is still a movie star till today
