In Aljunied, voters were told no less that they must not vote for WP because that would mean losing a two Ministers, especially the Foreign Minister.

Would Marine Parade have voted for PAP if they were told that SM would be relieved of his ministerial duties one week being elected ?

So Marine Parade lost a Cabinet Minister in the polls. Ministers are, after all, not irreplaceable like what George Yeo was made out to be.
