Ahead of International Women’s Day, I announced our move to empower women to take charge of their health through genomics.
From this December, women at risk of Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer will receive subsidies and use MediSave for genetic testing and treatments. We will also extend MediShield Life and MediSave coverage to related risk-reducing surgeries later this year. We recognise the courage of women who choose to understand their risks and take proactive steps for their health, and would like to support them on their journey.
