RESPONSE TO DPM WONG KAN SENG
Aware has never had a 'gay agenda'
WE WELCOME Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng's comments and his reiteration of the vital importance for all groups in Singapore, whether religious or secular, to live and let live, to exercise restraint and show mutual respect and tolerance.
Mr Wong noted that homosexuality was 'clearly a major issue to both sides'. We would like to point out that homosexuality has never been 'a major issue' for the Association of Women for Action and Research (Aware). Our stand, throughout the 24 years of our existence, has been identical to that of the Government.
We agree that the heterosexual family is the norm for our society. But homosexuals are also part of our society and they should be able to live freely and happily, free of any discrimination.
It must be made clear: Aware has never promoted homosexuality.
It is most regrettable that some people in Singapore now have the impression that Aware has a 'gay agenda'. This is totally unfounded. The allegation of a 'gay agenda' was made by Dr Thio Su Mien, and the team of women she handpicked to join Aware and take over its leadership, on the strength of bits of information taken out of context and strung together to create an imaginary and inaccurate picture of Aware's activities.
This unhappy episode, and the many wrongful allegations made during it, have damaged Aware's reputation and insulted the many women and men who, over the last 24 years, have worked so hard to improve the lives of women in Singapore and our society as a whole. Sadly, the allegations and the misperceptions continue in online forums and other channels.
The current Aware executive committee is already moving on. We have an expanded membership to reach out to and we are putting together our programmes for the year. We are confident we will be able to put this episode behind us and continue with our work.

Gays are like Taliban.
Talibans are allowed to live, preach and practice cutting people's head off in Pakistan Swat valley. If you like their lifestyle, laws and religion, please feel free to join them.
But when they start cutting other people's head off and force them to comply to their law, that's when people retaliate, that's why they are dying by the dozen now when Pakis hit back.
As for Gay, they can have Gay bar, Gay this and gay that, anyone is free to participate, it's a free country.
But when start to "Recruit" or Phyco others to promote their lifestyle, that is when their ass will be kick, just like the Talibans.

Isn't there some sort of treatment to cure gays of their sexual attraction towards members of the same sex???:( It goes against the order of nature and should be addressed. We can't have the deviant 10% of society imposing their values on the healthy heterosexual 90%.
Mankind has made great advances in the field of medicine. Even cancer can be beaten if caught early enough. Surely homosexuality can benefit from the same approach.
If identified during the onset of puberty, there should be drugs that can fix this perversion before it takes hold.
Perhaps Philip Yeo's talent filled research facility can get things moving.

Homo and lesbians behavior are deficiancy in sexual orientation, which literally is absent in the animal kingdom. Apart from transexual or biological bisexaul which are defects by birth..most homo and lesbians are developed during the stage of sexaul orientation formation when the male recognised their macho nature,,and the female recognise their feminine nature.....somehour , a small percentage got into a perverted development..and later a warped sexaul orientation....some got professional help and cured from the dispersian ,,some continued unchecked...

it's strange that people do not ostracise handicaps or deformity but the same people seem to be overwhelmed by prejudices against homosexuality.
imperfection makes perfection a test of GRACIOUSNESS in our society's maturity. as long as the gays follow the laws, does it make them a lesser human beings? by ostracising them, does that make u a better HUMAN?
"holier than thou" seems to be the prevailing hypocrisy that is corrupting many so called stauch followers of their religious belief. please check up on your teaching again to attest seriously your "holiness".

If medicine can change 10% of homosexual to heterosexual, than I am sure it can equally change 90% of heterosexual to homosexual. If drug can be so powerful to change a person sexual orientation, than you better not have your wife lay hands on it. I rather let nature take its course and live harmoniously.

It is not at all a case of ostracising,,the majority [anout 99.6% ] can accept that there are human deficiencies in physical. mental, psychological. sexual orientation...among the population...no body is ostracising the gays and lesbians..BUT, when these very minute minority start to go on stage big way to p[romote their deficient/pervert ways of life and SAYING LOUDLY that they are as normal as the rest of the 99.5%...THEN THEY ARE TRING TO IMPOSED THEIR DEVIANT VALUES, PERVERTED ORIENTATION, UNNATURAL SEXUAL HABBITS ONTO OTHERS...

When a baby is born with a hole in the heart, doctors will take steps to fix the heart defect in order for the child to grow up and lead a normal active life.
The same should apply to homosexuality. When sexual orientation goes haywire, medicine should take steps to fix the problem so that those afflicted can grow up to screw cunts (as nature intended) instead of shitty anuses full of E-coli.

People like to think of themselves as progressive/modern and others parochial. But actually they are the ones in need of an education. Progressive people will never support a behaviour that is against the order of nature.
It was never a holier than thou attitude. In fact, as we already know, many gays are priests, monks and teachers. They chose professions where they can meet many people of the same sex.
Your disease cannot be cured but as least get rid of the symptoms. Take 1 large dose of commonsense and 2 vows of celibacy every minute. Avoid promiscuous lau gays and butches for better efficacy. Re-infection is easy as clearly shown in the video. Do plenty of exercise to drain your libido. Go hump Bukit Timah Hill instead of Brokeback Mountain.
If you jolly well know those amorous lau gays are after your ass and you still fall for it, how progressive or intelligent can you be?

our great leeder the pinkiest of the pink once even proposed of making good "PINK" money there was a sudden change of plan and they lost much pink$ to the neighbouring cuntries like phuket and even the oz where they held annual MARDI GRAS parades.

they tell people they cannot be converted to straight becos they are 'born that way' ... and we have to accept them as they are ... some even dare to say 'god MADE us this way so we are also god's children' ...
but ... they try their darnest to convert normal men & women to gays/lesbians ... i personally know of some lesbians who try to do that - if not convert at least influence women to adopt their lifestyle ... females who are vulnerable to them include - young impressionable teenage girls, as well as grown women who have problems with boyfriends/husbands and thus feel angry with men at the moment ...
i went on internet & discovered that a popular lesbian fantasy is to get a straight woman 2b their girlfriend ... i know there are lesbian novels in the library, & one popular theme is - the les tries to win the attentions of this straight woman who fell out with her bf/husband ... and the ending is - the straight woman converts to les !!
