Robin van Persie is set to make his first start for Manchester United in Saturday's Premier League encounter with Fulham at Old Trafford.

United's manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has hinted that the Dutch striker who, following his move from Arsenal, made his debut for his new club as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Everton on Monday, will be promoted to the first XI for the visit of Martin Jol's side.

"Robin Van Persie, he scores when he wants".

Bro, we shall see. There is enormous pressure on him to deliver at Man Utd. With Danny Welbeck signing a new 4 year contract, RVP's ability to always make the starting eleven is not guaranteed.

Last thing they want is another Torres.

RVP will shine playing alongside Rooney.. No doubt about his class and capabilities..

Ok enough of RVP.. One player I must mention is Kagawa.. He was very impressive against Everton with his clever flicks and skills.. He's a clever little player..

"Oh really? What has he done to show his support for the club? Buying season tickets? Arsenal School Kits?"

When Rooney got the gash on his leg against Fulham, it was RVP who went to help him, before the medical and first aid people arrived.
Some players could not even bear to look at the injury, one of them notably being Welbeck.
RVP has really matured as a player and as a person, well done.
