SINGAPORE - A 26-year-old man who took an upskirt video of his female victim at a shopping mall in Harbourfront Walk on Thursday morning was caught red-handed by a member of public.
He was then detained and handed over to the police.
At about 10am, the suspect stood behind his 13-year-old victim and placed his mobile phone under her skirt while they were standing on an escalator at level 1 of the mall.
His action was spotted by a member of public, who is named as 'Mr Jason' in a police statement.
Mr Jason, 37, who was standing behind the suspect, then detained him.
If found guilty, he faces imprisonment up to a year, or a fine, or both penalties.
