I've taken trains from SG to KL and it takes 8 hours, no more, no less. Even an 8-hour train ride is tiring. You'll reach Segamat, the halfway point after about 4 hours. Major stations: SG - JB - Kulai - Kluang - Labis - Segamat - Gemas - Tampin - Seremban - Kajang - KL
