Man once on death row caught in drug bust

Less than a year after being exonerated of robbery charges, Mr Ismil Kadar is now in trouble with the law over drugs.

The 44-year-old was arrested on Wednesday during a routine anti-drug operation by Central Narcotics Bureau officers.

He is now being investigated for possession and consumption of a controlled drug.

A spokesman for the agency said on Thursday that Mr Ismil was nabbed by officers in a Boon Lay Avenue flat at about 10pm.
