Father, son found dead

WITHIN two hours, a father and son were found dead in separate places early on Sunday morning.

Police said the body of a Malay man in his mid-50s was found dead on the grass patch at the foot of Block 35 in Marsiling Drive, after they received a call at 5.20 am.

The man was pronounced dead by the paramedic on the scene at around 5.30am.

Investigations led the police to the Corpthorne Orchid Hotel on Dunearn Road and there they found the body of a 19-year-old man in a hotel room.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.30 am.

Police said the two deaths were linked.

The father and son pair had checked into the hotel at about 8 pm on Saturday night.

Police have classified the cases as unnatural deaths but have not ruled out foul play.

Investigations are ongoing.
