SINGAPORE - A man was found dead and lying in a pool of blood at Ang Mo Kio on Friday morning.
In a statement, police said the 48-year-old was found lying motionless at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8.
Citizen journalism site Stomp reported that police pinned down the suspect as paramedics attended to the victim.
Photos sent in by Stomp contributor huihua show paramedics performing CPR on him.
"I saw the police cordon off an area along the linkway because of a stabbing case," Huihua said.
"The paramedic was doing CPR on the guy on the left but there appeared to be no response. He was covered (in) lots of blood."
The photos also show police officers surrounding another man, who is believed to be the suspect.
Police said they arrested a 39-year-old man in connection to the case.
He will face court on Saturday on the murder charge. If convicted, he could be sentenced to death.
